Who?

Who am I, my name is Bill Dykema, I'm a programer and a systems admin that specializes in UNIX admin (although I deal with NT/2000 also).

I used to own my own software company with a partner that created the company with me (he was actually the better programmer and primary coder of Tar98, but I had the idea and managed things like support, money, and the website and hosting).  His name is Joe Holt and he now completely owns ObjectFusion, L.L.C. (visit http://www.objectfusion.com).  We had some substancial disagreements about how things should be handled and parted ways, exactly what we hoped would never happen.

I took a position with EMC that allows me to stay living in the Iowa/Illinois area (hard to do these days if you're a techy and want to go after the best opportunities).  I have a wonderful family and feel that they are best served by staying here in the Midwest.
